What premium costs

$29.99 a month, or $249.99 a year. It renews automatically until you cancel. Your store shows the real price in your own currency, with tax, before you confirm — that is the amount you are charged.

How do I cancel?

Where you bought it. We cannot cancel it for you, and deleting the app does not cancel it either.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends or it renews. You keep premium until the end of the period you already paid for.

I want a refund

Apple and Google take the payment, so they are the only ones who can refund it.Apple takes the payment, so only Apple can refund it. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: your order history in the Play Store. If the reason is that something in the app is broken, email us as well — we would rather fix it, and we will support your case with the store where we can.

Bought on the website? We took that payment, so we handle the refund. Email us, or message Brad from the Messages tab in the app.

I paid but the app still says Free

Try Restore purchases first — see below. If it still says Free after that, email us with the store you bought from and the date, and we will sort it out.

Can I subscribe on the website?

No. Subscriptions are sold in the phone app only, through the App Store and Google Play.

Yes. On veraforma.app you can subscribe with a card, through Stripe. There is no free trial on the website: your card is charged when you subscribe. The free week is in the phone app.

Free trial

The free trial is 7 days, everything unlocked, one per person — one per VeraForma account and one per store account. It cannot be restarted.

The free trial is in the phone app only. A card subscription on the website starts paid, the day you subscribe.

It is the start of your subscription, so the App Store or Google Play takes a payment method when it starts. Nothing is charged during the 7 days. If you do nothing, the subscription renews automatically when they end, at the price the store showed you. To avoid any charge, cancel in the App Store at least 24 hours before the 7 days end, or in Google Play any time before they end. With notifications on, the app reminds you two days before.

Charged after forgetting to cancel? The store that took the payment is the one that can refund it — see "I want a refund" above.

Subscribing during a free trial ends the trial — the free days left are not added on — and the store shows the price and when you are first charged before you confirm.

Trials started before the trial moved to the stores took no card and simply stop on their end date.

Restore a purchase

New phone, reinstalled the app, or premium features suddenly locked? Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases. That asks your store what you own and puts it back.

Two things that catch people out: sign in to VeraForma with the same account you had before, and make sure your phone is signed into the same Apple ID or Google account that bought the subscription. A subscription lives with the store account that paid for it.

Account and password

You can start without an account. The movement screen and the free app work straight away, and what you record stays on your phone. Make a free account to back it up, use it on other devices, start Premium or message Brad. Sign in with an email and password, or with Google on the website.

Forgotten your password? On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter your email. We issue a reset code that lasts 24 hours, and the app tells you where it is going — normally straight to the address on the account, so give it a minute and check spam. If it does not turn up, email us from that address and we will send it to you.

Cannot get in at all? If the address on the account is one you can no longer open, email us and we will help you back in. Either way, do not make a second account to get around it: your history, screens and programme live on the first one.

One person per account. If someone else wants to use VeraForma they need their own, so their programme is built from their body rather than yours.

Delete my account

You can do this yourself, in the app, without asking anyone:

The app cannot undo this. Export anything you want to keep first, and cancel your subscription in the store separately — deleting an account does not stop a store charge. Bought on the website? Cancel it under Manage billing in Settings first — deleting does not stop a card charge either.

What is deleted

Everything held under your account on our server:

Progress photos and posture photos are not in that list because they stay on your phone unless you post one to the wall or attach one to a bug report. Those are the only pictures of yours we ever hold, and they go with the rest.

Every bug report also has a short-lived copy at GitHub, where Claude works on it, explained on the privacy page.

What is kept, and for how long

For 90 days we hold a copy, so a deletion made by mistake can be undone if you ask us. Nothing in the app can reach it and it is not used for anything else. After 90 days it is permanently deleted, and at that point nobody can recover it, including us.

Four things sit outside that. Your phone keeps its own local copy until you uninstall the app or use Reset all data. Payment records held by Apple or Google belong to them, not to us — deleting your VeraForma account does not remove those, and does not cancel a subscription. We keep our own record of a store purchase: the date, what was bought and the store's reference for it — never your card, your name or your email. It is the proof of what you paid for, so it is not deleted with the account, and it is not used for anything else. And an invitation you sent stays with the person who accepted it: that record is filed under their account rather than yours, and it holds the invite code and your account id — never your name or your email.

If you cannot reach the button because you cannot sign in, email us from the account's address and we will delete it for you.

Get my data out

Your logs, measurements, screens and findings are yours. The app can export them, and the privacy page explains what is held and where it goes. If you want a copy of everything on the server rather than what is on the phone, email us and ask.

Camera and form check

The camera will not start

Check that VeraForma has camera permission in your phone's settings — the app cannot ask twice if it was refused the first time. Then close the app fully and reopen it.

The first screen took ages

That is expected once. The pose model downloads the first time you tap into a screen, not when you install the app, so the very first run needs a connection and a few seconds. After that it is on your phone and works offline.

It says it cannot make a reading

That is the app being honest rather than guessing, and it is deliberate. Get your whole body in frame from head to feet, put the phone on something at about hip height rather than holding it, stand back far enough, and give it decent light and a plain-ish background. Loose clothing over the hips and knees makes some readings impossible.

The finding looks wrong to me

Tell us — that is genuinely useful and it is how the judging gets better. Say which screen, which finding, and what you think it should have said. If you can, keep the photograph.

Your form-check video stays on your phone unless you choose to send it. The analysis happens on the device. A meal photo or a gym scan, which you start yourself, is sent to be read by AI and never used to train AI models. The privacy page lists everything you can choose to send, and how long each is kept.

Offline and updates

The app is built to work in a gym with no signal. Once it has loaded, your programme, your logs and your prescribed demonstration clips are on the phone. Things that need a server — messages, sync, the AI features — wait until you have a connection.

Seeing an old version of a screen, or a change that will not appear? On the website, add ?nosw=1 to the address once to bypass the cached copy, then reload normally. On the phone, close the app fully and reopen it.

Health and safety

VeraForma is coaching, not medicine. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it does not replace your doctor or physio.

Get medical clearance before starting if you have a heart, lung or metabolic condition, are pregnant or recently postpartum, are recovering from surgery or injury, or if your evaluation flagged something. Stop training and get medical help if you have chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness or anything that worries you. Do not use the app instead of an emergency service.

Pain that does not settle needs somebody who can put hands on you. The app will tell you when it is pointing you at a professional; that is not a formality.

Report a problem

The fastest way is in the app, at Settings → Help & about → Report a bug, which fills in your phone, the app version and what you tapped just before.

If you cannot sign in, or would rather write, email VeraFormaApp@gmail.com. What helps most:

If it is a billing problem, say which store you bought from and when.
